In an interview with Elle Magazine, the actress sat down for a chat and talked about the dresses and costumes she wore during the entirety of the MCU. Recalling that she felt a bit uncomfortable due to the amount of cleavage that was seen, Olsen wished that the dresses were a slight bit higher.

“I like corsets, but I’d like it to be higher. Everyone has these things that cover them—Tessa Thompson does, Scarlett [Johansson] does. I would like to cover up a bit. It’s funny because sometimes I look around and I’m just like—wow, I’m the only one who has cleavage, and that’s a constant joke because they haven’t really evolved my superhero costume that much.”

Although she was a bit uncomfortable with the cleavage, Olsen was content with the fact that Marvel Studios decided against the use of a comic-accurate costume. Boasting a leotard and a headband, Wanda Maximoff looked way different in the comics, and Elizabeth Olsen is glad that they did not use it.

In the interview, Olsen further revealed that Marvel Studios knew that the comic-accurate costume of the Scarlett Witch was not at all cool. Talking about it, the actress revealed that she was glad that the MCU decided to go against the comic costume.

“At least they know that’s not cool. But then they made ‘Wonder Woman,’ you know? And that’s what she’s in. I think of the costumes and what we have to wear—it’s more about iconic images because that’s what these movies are, I think that’s the goal with the costumes, and it’s not representing the average woman.”

The actress was last seen in the role of Wanda Maximoff in the 2022 movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The MCU movie is available to stream on Disney+.
