Hugh Jackman’s entrance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe makes him the only person to have ever played a superhero for over sixteen years. The superheroes have been appearing on and off screen for more than five decades now and the range of heroes has exceeded manifolds. The progress of the upcoming phases of the franchise will hold one of the most anticipated movies for the fans, Avengers: Secret Wars.
With movies coming left and right, bringing us closer to the estimated release date of this film, fans have become more and more creative with their theories and what they want to see in this film.
Will Hugh Jackman Appear In Avengers: Secret Wars
It is only natural that when a beloved character and actor make an exit from a franchise, audiences will constantly look for opportunities for them to return. While this rarely ends up happening, Marvel fans got quite lucky with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine returning in the much anticipated Deadpool 3, On top of this, there have been many speculations that this return is here to say, with many rumors of the actor making an appearance in the fifth Avengers film, Avengers: Secret Wars.
With this news, many have been hoping that other adored actors, more specifically Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, and Tobey Maguire, put their suits on one last time and give the fans what they want. Like Jackman, their character’s absence has been felt by fans ever since the moment they left the screen. Many have even gone online, talking about the perfect opportunities for them to return. A recent attempt at this, however, is quite interesting.
Fans Believe Avengers: Secret Wars Will Earn $2 Billion If They Bring Back These Actors
There is absolutely no doubt that if Hugh Jackman, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, and Tobey Maguire reprised their past roles in one film, it would do exceptionally well and earn a huge amount of money. A fan on Twitter pointed this out, stating that if Marvel were to bring back Wolverine, Iron Man, Captain America, and Maguire’s Spider-Man for Avengers: Secret Wars, that film would easily profit more than $2 billion, and even beat movies like Avatar for the highest grossing film.
Many agreed with this sentiment, excited at the possibility of this happening, adding that if they add Tom Cruise as evil Iron Man and Doctor Doom, the movie would surpass $3 billion. Many, however, pointed out that this was highly unlikely, stating that Downey would ever return as Iron Man since his departure. Some added that though this idea sounds good on paper, it would not be executed well considering the fact that the entire movie would simply become fan service but a narrative disaster.
