Why did Dwayne Johnson Refuse the role of Cade Yeager in Transformers 4?

Johnson was quite busy portraying the role of Hercules because he was bulking up and making a physique that was worthy of Hercules. This was a questionable decision because the actor is known for giving smash hit movies and even though the movie earned $244.8 million worldwide, it was nothing compared to Transformers: Age of Extinction which was a blockbuster and as it became one of the highest-earning films in the Box Office earning $ 1.104 billion.

It is questionable what would have happened to the franchise if Dwayne Johnson was a part in the movie because Wahlberg could not save the franchise as the following sequels of the franchise were disappointing lacking both, quality and writing for the movies.
