Do We Hear Wedding Bells? Marvel Co-Stars Zendaya and Tom Holland Skipped Oscars, Spotted Hanging Out With Holland's Mom Nikki Instead

The 2023 Academy Awards red carpet was star-studded with celebrities and artists. However, not everyone attended the prestigious awards ceremony. Some big names preferred to skip out on it. Two such A-list names are Zendaya and Tom Holland. The MCU co-stars were a no-show at the 2023 Oscars and were instead spotted on a walk with Holland’s mother. This has made fans question if there is going to be a wedding soon.

Tom Holland And Zendaya Spotted On A Walk In London

On the Oscars weekend, Zendaya and Tom Holland were spotted holding hands and talking with Holland’s mother, Nikki Holland. Zendaya has visited Holland’s family before so this is nothing new in that aspect. As for why the couple didn’t attend the high-profile Oscars, it’s probably because none of them were associated with any of the nominees or nominations. So considering the distance between London and Los Angeles, the couple decided to stay in the UK.

Here are the tweets about the couple getting spotted in London recently:

These photos seem to indicate that the Marvel couple has chosen to spend some time with each other before going back to shooting their respective future projects. Could it mean that there might be engagement news soon? As for now, nothing has been confirmed by the couple. It’s rumored that Holland’s Spider-Man will appear in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. As for Zendaya, she will be seen in Dune: Part Two and Euphoria season 3.

Zendaya And Tom Holland Hate The Invasion Of Their Privacy

In a November 2021 interview with GQ, Tom Holland said that fame has made it difficult for him to control his life and what should be private is now shared with everyone. He alluded to the viral kissing video that made the public realize that he was in a relationship with his Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star. As per the actor:

“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world. I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway. We sort of felt robbed of our privacy.”

Zendaya too felt that the intense public curiosity in their relationship was weird and confusing. As per the actress:

“It was quite strange and weird and confusing and invasive. The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own… I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”

It doesn’t look like the public invasion of their privacy will lessen anytime soon. Thankfully, they aren’t the first Hollywood couple general audiences have been obsessed with. From Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, there have been multiple couples the public has wanted to know more and more about. But over time, the interest in them has dwindled and the public shifted their attention elsewhere. However, it remains to be seen if the public will ever move on from Tom Holland and Zendaya together.

Dune: Part Two will be released on 3 November 2023 and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released on 2 June 2023.
