Humans have had terrible histories and discord amongst themselves. After dillydallying between buying Twitter and not buying Twitter, Elon Musk finally bought the social media platform. The deal, however, came at a cost as the people started spamming…the N-word.
After the deal was done, the people started spamming the N-word to test the new limits that the bots could handle up to under new management by the SpaceX CEO. People were not so amused by the spamming of this derogatory word.
People Testing Twitter Under Elon Musk’s Management
With a transaction of 44 billion dollars completed by the Tesla CEO, the social media platform came under the management of Elon Musk. Immediately deciding to fire the existing heads of the platform, Musk made an impression of himself.
After the takeover, people took to Twitter to check the limits that the bots will allow for the liberty of free speech allocated to the public. The scene turned ugly pretty quickly as people started spamming the N-word in various shapes all the while having a laugh about it. The people took to Twitter to express their anger over the abuse of free speech that people had been offered.
Although many people are blaming Elon Musk for the incident, a majority of the people also seem to defend the billionaire. With claims that the spammers are bot accounts created to derail Elon’s popularity, people rush in to gather support for the co-founder of Neuralink. The battle against racism begins again as people test limits on the Internet. A tweet stated that although these are words, real POC’s (Persons of Color) lives are affected by them.
Elon Musk’s Rocky Start To Twitter
After several decisions about taking over Twitter or not, Musk found himself in the middle of a courtroom. Twitter had sued the Tesla CEO for his incomplete promise of buying Twitter for 44 billion dollars. Following the chain of events, he eventually bought Twitter and fired the CEO of Twitter Parag Agrawal, the CFO Ned Segal, and many other executives.
Elon Musk also had a rough start when a majority of the people turned against him due to the above-mentioned N-word fiasco that has shaken Twitter to its core. To top it all off, Elon Musk was also referenced in the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp defamation trial that took place. There has been no official statement from Elon Musk regarding the above-mentioned incident but strict rules will be applied sooner or later on Twitter.
