In an interview with Late Night with Seth Meyers, the Passengers actress revealed how she had gotten into an awkward situation when a fan said ‘F–k you’ to her at a bar.

This happened on a night in 2017 in Budapest when she had gone with her friends to get drinks.

“We were at a bar, it was beer night. We had a ton of beers. We were all drinking, I was drunk, which is rare. This one guy asked me for a selfie and I was like ‘No, thank you.’ Then he was like, ‘Please, my girlfriend will never believe me’.”

As soon as the fan said the last line, Lawrence’s friend replied by saying that if his girlfriend wouldn’t believe him then ‘she’s not the one’. Hearing this, the fan got worked up and said ‘F–k you’ to the actress.

When Jennifer Lawrence heard him swearing at her, she said that something in her just ‘snapped’ and it was not because of the beer. She continued,

“I was like ‘Did you just say f**k you to me? DID YOU JUST SAY F**K YOU TO ME?’ and I like grabbed him and I took beers and I started dousing them all over him.”

And just like that, Jennifer Lawrence went batsh*t crazy at the comment her fan made about her and started humiliating her fan by pouring down beer on him.

If pouring down beer on her fan wasn’t enough, Jennifer Lawrence went ahead to douse beer on his suitcase as well. Continuing her story, she said,

“Weirdly he had a suitcase. I went straight to the bar and I was like ‘Is that your shit?’ and I started pouring beers all over his suitcase and my friend Chris came up, grabbed me from behind and he goes ‘Don’t waste beer!’ and I instantly relaxed. I was like, of course. What was I thinking?”

While the actress is renowned for being real and quirky, it does sound pretty weird that what it took for her to stop was the realization that she was ‘wasting beer’ and not that she was probably ruining someone’s personal belongings by pouring beer all over them and humiliating him.

Some may say that Lawrence merely overreacted and that it was ‘no big deal’. However, it must be remembered that actors too have their personal lives and have the right to say ‘no’ when they don’t want to do something.
