A treasure hunter like Indiana Jones had to stay in shape to go on the several dangerous quests the forests called him for. Thus, in order to advance he would need to go through some serious training. Due to the rigorous nature of his workout program, Harrison Ford had to maintain a strict regimen with little time for rest. In addition to that, he loved circuit training, a workout routine where he would perform one high-intensity exercise after the other until he felt like he could barely breathe.

It was also reported, that in preparation for the 2008 Indy movie, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the actor shocked everyone when his almost 20-year-old dusty costume fit him like a glove, proving he had little to no changes in measurement over the course of two whole decades.

The actor built an intricate system over the year that he refuses to miss, allegedly he had been doing them for so long that the strict regime was now a part of his habit. The actor will soon be departing from a franchise synonymous with his career, and alas will get some much-needed rest.

Harrison Ford will be wearing his fedora as Indiana Jones one last time before walking into the sunset after a triumph with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Having been playing the iconic character for over four decades, many would presume leaving it behind would be significantly difficult for the actor. But contrary to the thought, the actor claimed he is done with the franchise and is ready to move on. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor stated,

“I don’t think I’m going to miss anything. I appreciate all of the opportunities that the character has given me. I have been very grateful and I have enjoyed myself for the 42 years that we’ve been making these.”

Although he will be forever grateful for all the new opportunities and heights of success the franchise provided him with, he is now in search of some much-needed rest. As the popularity of Indy movies increased so did his, and thus the movies are now a significant part of childhood for many people across the globe. Consequently, people are eagerly waiting for the much-anticipated movie of the year to witness their favorite treasure hunter in action for the last time.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will come out on the 30th of June in theatres worldwide.
