Keanu Reeves once had a crush on his Speed co-star Sandra Bullock. The duo had quite a friendship over the years but they never made it into a relationship. Despite Reeves having a crush on his co-star, the actor picked a different person when asked who he’d like to hang out with.
During the promotional interview for DC’s League of Super-Pets, Keanu Reeves was asked several questions not pertaining to the movie. The interviewer asked several questions to the John Wick actor and Reeves picked quite an unexpected person on who he’d like to work with in the future.
Keanu Reeves Didn’t Name Sandra Bullock As His Go-to Person
Starring in the iconic movie titled Speed in 1994, Keanu Reeves starred alongside Sandra Bullock and audiences loved their chemistry. After the movie ended, Bullock stated that her co-star Reeves was indeed quite handsome.
In a twist of fate, The Matrix actor also confessed later on that he too had a crush on Sandra Bullock. During the promotion of DC’s League of Super-Pets, the interviewer asked Reeves several questions regarding his fellow actors and friends. During the run of the interview, the interviewer asked Reeves the name of the actor he’d like to have future collaborations with.
Reeves did not even take a minute to consider the question and blurted out quite an unexpected name that people wouldn’t have guessed.
“Alex Winter. Let’s make some more Bill & Ted!”
The actor starred alongside Alex Winter back in 1989 when Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventures was released in theaters across the world. Having starred in countless movies together, Keanu Reeves has dedicated a significant amount of his time to learning skills necessary to his character.
Keanu Reeves Learned Horseback Riding For John Wick!
Being a softie at heart, Reeves was pretty great with animals on the sets of the John Wick franchise. According to a production member of the team, the actor was so good at horseback riding that they even showed him how to do tricks while on horseback.
“The thing I like about him the most is: He has a lot of respect for the animals. He learned all the different horses.”
The trick that they are referring to was seen when Keanu Reeves was hanging on the side of a horse during a chase-fight scene in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. The actor recently reprised his role in 2023 with the release of John Wick: Chapter 4.
