Demi Moore and Bruce Willis have been one of the highlights of the late 80s and throughout the 90s due to their high-profile stardom in Hollywood and their status as one of the most fashionable power couples of the era, preceding Johnny Depp-Winona Ryder and Brad Pitt-Jennifer Aniston. But unlike the latter pairs, the separation between Moore and Willis was anything but dramatic and sensational for the public and the media. The amiable friendship between the two may in fact be one of the best and healthiest relationships seen in the modern day. But even those come with their fair share of fights and scandals.
Bad Blood Between Ashton Kutcher and Bruce Willis
After Demi Moore‘s split with Bruce Willis in 1998, the pair officially filed for divorce in 2000. A year later, Willis’ comedy film Bandits was released. His co-star January Jones at the time was already involved in a 3-year relationship with That 70s Show star, Ashton Kutcher. However, Kutcher had grown increasingly convinced about Jones’s alleged fling with Bruce Willis because of the pair’s budding friendship over the course of filming Bandits. They split soon after and 4 years later, Kutcher was married to Bruce Willis’s former wife, Demi Moore.

In her explosive memoir, Inside Out, Demi Moore detailed the unraveling of the events of 2001: “Ashton was convinced they’d had a fling on set.” Upon asking January Jones herself about whether Kutcher’s paranoia held any substance or reason behind it, Moore was faced with an incredulous response from the actress: “Are you serious? I told him a hundred times, I didn’t want to f–k that old man!” Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher were married for 6 years from 2005 to 2011 until their divorce on grounds of the latter’s infidelity.
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore Reunite Amid Aphasia Diagnosis
Last year, Hollywood was taken by surprise when Bruce Willis claimed to have been diagnosed with aphasia, an incurable ailment which had further developed into frontotemporal dementia. Over the course of the year, friends, family, and old co-stars from the industry have gathered around the action movie star to show support in a time of crisis. However, it is Willis’ former and current wives, Demi Moore and Emma Heming Willis who have held down the fort with impressive resilience.
While the latter has made the home a safe space for the entire family, the former has taken to arranging little get-togethers with Willis’s industry co-stars to keep his mind and memories sharp. In the years since the pandemic, Demi Moore has become an active part of the Willis-Heming family, isolating together with her former husband, and their three daughters, while moving closer to the actor’s family home as Moore shares a newfound sisterhood in the company of Emma Heming.
