Superman Kisses Jay In Dc Comics
Earlier, DC teased that he would begin a relationship with reporter Jay Nakamura in Superman: Son of Kal-El #5. Talking about negative reactions, some people didn’t rest well with this decision. Moreover, former Superman actor Dean Cain didn’t like the announcement. If this wasn’t enough, then the former colourist Gabe Eltaeb was fired for spewing derogatory comments. But all this aside, Jon Kent’s Superman is over the moon with his new relationship, courtesy of the creative team of Tom Taylor and John Timms.
In Superman: Son of Kal-El #5, Jon Kent flies around the entire world to save lives. This comes in the wake of his father’s decision to go to Warworld. Like father like son, Jon is as heroic and poignant. During all this chaos, Kent falls to his knees after losing control of his powers. Following this, Aerie brings him to Jay Nakamura. He offers Kent a place to rest his head. After Kent slept for nine hours, Jay reveals that he has his powers and that Superman doesn’t need to protect him. After this revelation, they stare into each other’s eyes, and they share a passionate kiss.
However, this moment is short-lived as Superman is immediately alerted of nearby danger. But they share the moment of doubt too. When Jay doubts that Jon is bailing out on him after the romantic moment, Jon leaves his cloak with Jay and promises that he will be back soon. Now, all we have to do is wait and see how the relationship blooms. Superman: Son of Kal-El #5 is now in comic book stores.
