It’s quite common in the film industry that celebrities come close to each other on red carpets. According to the recent news we came to know that David Harbour and Lily Allen met on a dating app! The Stranger Things actor and the singer got married in 2020 in Las Vegas.
There are basically two parts of the news it’s about how they met, and a rumor but real version, which seems true. The fake version is that they met backstage at a talk show, but the real story is that they meet on a dating app.
David Harbour Fell for Lily Allen After Meeting Her On Raya
It is ok to point out that they didn’t meet on dating apps like Tinder or Bumble, they were using an app called Raya, an exclusive app that users have to apply to get on, which is also an acceptable option for celebs. Talking to GQ Hype, Stranger Things actor David Harbour said:
“I was in London alone, doing Black Widow, on this app, going on dates and stuff. And yeah, I started texting with her, she was in Italy at the time — we got together, went on a date at The Wolseley, and it was, you know, she’s f***ing unbelievable.”

“She claims to have fallen in love at first sight with me — I mean, who wouldn’t? I remember the exact moment. It was our third date. I was just in this phase, where I was like, I’m just going to be brutally honest about everything, because why lie? And I told her something about my life, about my beliefs.”
“It would take a really extraordinary person to be accepting of the things that I said. And I remember thinking: Wow, that’s somebody I want to be around.”
Although he didn’t reveal what he told her on that date, he did talk about their early relationship when they were in separate countries, texting back and forth. David Harbour recently opened up on the ‘special relationship’ he maintains with her daughters Ethel, 10, and Marnie, nine, from her relationship with ex-husband Sam Cooper. He told The Times:
“I’ve learned a lot about myself. You really have to show up for other human beings in a truly selfless way, I was, like, Whoa, this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with.”
