Cyberpunk 2077 is set to have a major 2.0 update before the release of the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion. While the DLC is already set to overhaul the game with new ways to play, new weapons and redesigned cyberware, the 2.0 update looks to introduce more features to the base game.

Alongside information relating to the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update, we also have a concrete file size for Phantom Liberty. This means many will have to clear out their hard drives this month, (yet again), to make room for the expansion.
Cyberpunk 2.0.exe- What File Size Is Phantom Liberty Going To Be?
PlayStation Game Size reported on Twitter that the update was added to the PlayStation Database, suggesting that the 2.0 update will be released sometime over the next few weeks. PlayStation File Size also revealed the file size for the Phantom Liberty expansion, which will be around 33 GB on PlayStation 5. While it’s most likely going to be the same on other platforms there has been no direct confirmation of how much space it will take up on PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Details relating to the 2.0 update and Phantom Liberty were revealed in a recent developer stream. The stream illustrated how Cyberpunk 2077 overall is shifting towards improving the game’s combat and AI mechanics. The biggest new feature for combat in Phantom Liberty is the Relic Skill Tree.
To upgrade the Relic Skill tree, you will need Relic Points that are scattered around Dogtown in unmarked locations. This skill tree unlocks a whole new style of fighting for those who love to challenge groups of enemies head-on.
In terms of AI improvements, skirmishes with the police will now be much more involved, giving players a complex and rewarding combat experience. Alongside the improved features coming to the base game in the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update, Phantom Liberty will expand players’ opportunity to acquire new cars with “Car Gigs”.
