Blue Beetle is an upcoming superhero film produced by DC Studios and The Safran Company. The movie is due to be released this year, and the recent post by Zack Snyder created a buzz among the fans of Snyder and James Gunn.

Blue Beetle film is based on the DC Comics character Jaime Reyes or the Blue Beetle. The film is directed by Angel Manuel Soto and written by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. It will be the fourteenth film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Xolo Maridueña will play the lead alongside Adriana Barraza, Damián Alcázar, Raoul Max Trujillo, Susan Sarandon, and George Lopez.
Blue Beetle will release in theatres on 18 August 2023.
