One of the highly anticipated action-hero films of the year is definitely The Flash. Ezra Miller’s superhero and action-adventure film is based on the iconic Flashpoint phase of the DC comics. In the film, Barry Allen aka The Flash comes face to face with several versions of Superman and Batman. He also has a version of him in another universe and they join forces in an attempt to save the multiverse from collapsing.
The movie is going to hit the theatres very soon, and one last trailer of the film was released a few days ago. The trailer offers a glimpse of some familiar faces that were earlier on DCEU projects.

A New Familiar Face Returns for Ezra Miller’s The Flash
The last trailer of the movie has revealed another familiar face from Justice League, which marks their return to the DC Studios. The upcoming film is starting with a new timeline of characters that are interwoven with some past characters like Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl. However, to the joy of the viewers, the movie is also bringing back some previous faces from the DCEU cast.
As it is already known, Ben Affleck as Batman is back and has also got a new suit. Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman is also returning to the film, as revealed by a Funko Pop.
In the recent trailer of The Flash, another popular face from Justice League is part of the clip. The familiar face is that of Jeremy Iron, who plays the role of Alfred, the butler of Batman. In the trailer, he is seen talking to Barry as he tells him to meet Ben Affleck’s Batman.
Barry Allen was last seen in contact with Alfred in Zack Snyder’s Justice League at the end part of the film.
Jeremy Irons made his DCEU debut with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and later appeared in Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Are other characters from Zack Snyder’s Justice League returning in The Flash?
Apart from Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck, there has not been any confirmation about any other superhero’s return in the film. Though the fans are rooting for a cameo of former Superman, Henry Cavill, and Jason Momoa’s Aquaman to confirm the sequel of his film.
The flick is directed by Andy Muschietti and taken from the screenplay by Christina Hodson. It stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen aka The Flash. Other cast members include Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton.
As per the plot of the film Barry goes back in time to prevent the murder of his mother, however, he has to pay a heavy price because of his unthoughtful actions.
The Flash will release in theaters on June 16.
