Chris Rock Defends Will Smith Despite Oscars Slap Humiliation, Says Jada Smith Publicly Embarrassing Him With August Alsina Affair Wasn't Cool: "Why the f**k would you do that sh*t?"

Following the infamous and nefarious Oscar slap controversy between Will Smith and Chris Rock, both parties seem to not have moved on. Being a comedian, people often cite real situations in a hilarious way. Well, Chris Rock is no exception.

In a new stand-up comedy special, the Grown Ups actor seemed to defend Will Smith due to the horrible infidelity that his wife Jada Pinkett Smith seemed to have done. According to the American comedian, Jada Smith’s infidelity hurt Will Smith more than his slap at Chris Rock at the Oscars 2022.

Chris Rock Jokes About Jada Smith’s Infidelity

In his recent standup comedy, Chris Rock took to the stage to talk about the Smith family. In his jokes, Rock talked about the infidelity case, Will Smith’s selective anger, and his now-failed Hollywood career that cost the movie Emancipation dearly.

Talking about the infamous affair between Jada Pinkett Smith and the American singer August Alsina, Rock had some hurtful statements for the people to hear. The Down to Earth actor discussed the horrible reception of Will Smith’s latest movie Emancipation and that everyone has been cheated once in their life.

“Will Smith practices selective outrage. Everybody that really knows knows I had nothing to do with that s***. I didn’t have any entanglements.”

The use of the word “entanglement” was also an inside joke for the versed people since Jada Pinkett Smith had stated that she had been “entangled” with August Alsina during her separation from Will Smith.

“We all been cheated on. Everybody in this industry has been cheated on. None of us have ever been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television. None of us. Why the f*** would you do that s***? She hurt him way more than he hurt me, okay?”

After the segment was done, there was also a leaked segment that feels almost too racist to feature. Will Smith was an idol of Chris Rock but the latter stated that he saw the movie Emancipation just because he wanted to see Will Smith getting “whipped”.

Following the Oscar slap, the Man in Black actor tried really hard to get his successful career back on track. With an apology video released on YouTube, Smith felt that it would be enough to repair the damages of his tarnished reputation. After some time, Will Smith starred in Antoine Fuqua’s Emancipation.

Based on historical accounts, the movie talked about Peter the slave (Will Smith) fleeing a county in Louisiana to survive the cold-blooded hunters and nature. Although the plot felt intriguing, people review-bombed the movie just because Will Smith was in it. Chris Rock also commented on the movie’s failure in his standup special.

“I rooted for Will Smith my whole life. The other day, I watched ‘Emancipation’ just so I could watch him getting whipped.”

As of now, Will Smith is attached to four upcoming projects which also include the iconic return of Mike Lowery in Bad Boys 4. Will Smith’s Emancipation is currently available to stream on Apple TV+.
