For celebrities, it’s customary for actors and actresses to adhere to rigorous fitness and dietary routines in preparation for their roles, and Pratt, known as Owen Grady in Jurassic World Dominion, is no exception.

During a previous appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the actor provided insights into his preparation for the Jurassic World Dominion filming.

Pratt candidly revealed that sculpting Owen Grady’s physique for Jurassic World Dominion required a degree of self-imposed starvation. He jested,

“Yeah, yeah, I have to starve. […] I have to put myself on a really strict code because I’m forty now. So, if I eat like, I don’t know, a Starburst, I gain like 15 pounds.”

When Jimmy Kimmel humorously suggested that the filmmakers could employ CGI to enhance Pratt’s physique, the actor quipped, “You just cost Universal a lot of money.”

This tongue-in-cheek exchange hinted at the fascinating idea of utilizing computer-generated imagery as a workaround for grueling workout routines.

Apart from Pratt, Jurassic World: Dominion boasts a star-studded cast, including Bryce Dallas Howard, DeWanda Wise, and Omar Sy. Notably, the film marks the triumphant return of Jurassic Park legends Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum.

As discussions surrounding the movie gained momentum, it’s worth noting that it has already generated substantial buzz and is poised for an impressive performance at the box office.

In the age of prehistoric giants, Jurassic World: Dominion’s box office performance was nothing short of spectacular. Although dinosaurs are long extinct, the allure of these movies remains.

The latest installment of the Jurassic World series, Dominion, officially crossed the billion-dollar mark at the global box office, completing the set, much like its predecessors.

Jurassic World: Dominion graced the screens of only 205 theaters but managed to surpass the remarkable billion-dollar milestone. When combining the earnings of all three films in the franchise, the Jurassic Park saga has amassed over $6 billion in total.

As reported by the media, despite the massive international success of the Jurassic World franchise, each film yielded comparatively modest domestic returns. Jurassic World (2015) grossed $652 million domestically, yet its international box office receipts exceeded $1.6 billion.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom earned just $417 million domestically but raked in a colossal $1.3 billion globally. Finally, Jurassic World: Dominion achieved a billion-dollar box office feat, though its domestic earnings fell short of the original Jurassic Park (1993) domestic gross, tallying only $376 million.

With a seamless blend of breathtaking visual effects and riveting storytelling, the films continued to captivate audiences while breathing new life into the beloved franchise.
