But Chris Evans’ mother was affected by the final moments of the film for a completely different reason. It was reported that the actor’s mom burst into tears on seeing her son transformed into an old man on screen because he bore a startling resemblance to her father, Chris Evans’ maternal grandfather, Andrew Capuano, who worked at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. Seeing her son on screen brought back many nostalgic and unforgettable memories of times with her father.

Will Chris Evans Return To The MCU?

After officially handing over his legacy to Falcon, Steve Rogers aka Captain America ended his journey as an Avenger in Avengers: Endgame. With this culmination, Chris Evans too said goodbye to his association with the character. While the next installment in the Captain America series will see Anthony Mackie wielding the shield, there are speculations about a possible cameo appearance from Chris Evans that Marvel might incorporate into the narrative. The star though detailed the reasons why this may not happen.

“I just don’t want to mess up in any way, and I was a part of something that was so special for the special period of time and in a way, it really landed so well. As much as I’m connected to that role and love telling those stories and working with those people, it doesn’t quite feel right right now”.
