After making her debut with The Mask in 1994, Cameron Diaz landed roles in several films. Later, she starred in the popular franchise Charlie’s Angels. Diaz retired from her acting career after 20 years with her last film, Annie, in 2014. In an interview with Gwyneth Paltrow, she said, “I just decided that I wanted different things out of my life.”
The actress is coming back to acting and is excited about it. Cameron Diaz talked about how she felt about this movie and how she decided to return to acting. She said, “I’m both. It’s a little bit of muscle memory, you know what I mean?” She further said, “I kind of just fell back into it. But it feels a little bit different.”
The Aveline founder also shared reuniting with Jamie Foxx, with whom she has worked in the 1994 sports drama Any Given Sunday and 2014 Annie. She said, “He’s so great, he’s so easy, he’s so professional, he’s so talented, and just being able to work with him. it’ll be so much fun.”

The news about Cameron Diaz’s comeback was revealed with Jamie Foxx’s one Twitter post back in June. Jamie Foxx shared an audio clip on Twitter saying, “Cameron I hope you aren’t mad I recorded this, but no turning back now. Had to call in the GOAT to bring back another GOAT.”
The audio clip was of the conversation between Cameron, Jamie Foxx, and Tom Brady. In the recording, Diaz seems nervous when Foxx tells her, “Listen, I got somebody on the other line that can help you with this. Can I click him in?” Foxx then asked. “Cameron, it’s the GOAT,” he said, as Brady said hello.
Cameron Diaz later shared the clip on her Instagram story and wrote, “@iamjamiefoxx only you could get me back in action! I can’t frickin wait it’s gonna be a blast!”
