Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt parted ways in 2019 after almost 6 years of marriage. But Unfortunately, their legal battle is still going on in the court. Both Jolie and Pitt are going against each other in court for numerous reasons.
First, the battle started with the custody of their children, and now it is about a winery in France. Recently, the Bullet Train actor came up with a few revelations in the court against Jolie which has flabbergasted many people.
Brad Pitt claimed Angelina Jollie brought a stranger to his Family home
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt both are not ready to give up on their court battles although it pulling a lot of negative attention towards both the stars. Once again Pitt came up with another statement against his former wife that can ruin Jolie’s image. The Babylon actor has claimed in the court that the 47-year-old actress has joined hands with a Russian businessman Yuri Shefler. In 2022, Pitt claimed that Jolie sold his share of interest in Chateau Miraval without his consent.
Reportedly, Pitt has also claimed that Jolie got a stranger to their family home and he wasn’t very happy about it. The statement presented in the court claims that Jolie sold the interest to Tenute del Mondo and the company’s parent company is owned by Shefler. Pitt’s amendment complaint says
“In the wake of the adverse custody ruling, she no longer wanted to sell to Pitt, notwithstanding her contractual obligations and years of assurances to him.”
Pitt wasn’t aware that Jolie sold his share until he came across a press release that revealed all the information regarding the selling and purchasing of the interests.
Brad Pitt claims Angelina Jolie’s partnership with Yuri Shefler is a threat to his business
Pitt is reportedly concerned about the business he has built over these years. The 59-year-old actor isn’t happy that Shefler is involved in his business. The statements in the court file say,
“Shefler’s Russia-affiliated spirits conglomerate has been the subject of repeated boycotts in connection with Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and homophobic legislative Agenda. While Shefler may be seeking to launder his reputation by forcing a partnership with one of the world’s most well-known and popular actors, affiliation with Shefler and Stoli jeopardizes the reputation of the business that Pitt so carefully built with Perrin and with which Pitt has so closely and carefully associated himself and his image.”
Jolie’s lawyers have come out to and spoken regarding this claim. According to them these claims by Pitt are malicious and part of a problematic pattern. Since Shefler is a controversial name, this claim by Pitt might damage Jolie’s image as a philanthropist as well.
