Starting her journey with a Spanish film called Una Rosa de Francia back in 2006, Ana De Armas’ talent and passion for acting brought her to Hollywood. She instantly caught the attention of some of the industry’s top filmmakers and actors. All that hard work finally paid off when she got her first breakthrough opportunity alongside John Wick star Keanu Reeves in the film Knock Knock.
The Blonde star had a mix of Cuban and Spanish upbringing and that explains how she can effortlessly switch between personalities, emotions, and languages. Before No Time to Die, her talent was spread across genres with films like War Dogs, Blade Runner 2049, and Knives Out.
Her endeavors just can’t seem to stop. With John Wick’s spin-off Ballerina already up her sleeve, she is now rumored to have been offered the role of Spider-Woman.
Ana De Armas As Spider-Woman In MCU?
With Spider-Man: No Way Home giving us peak spidey action, and Sony Pictures continuing with their own hits like Venom and Spider-Verse series, we may now also get to see Ana De Armas in the mix as she is rumored to be taking on the role of Spider-Woman.
Earlier it was reported that she may star in Sony’s El Muerto as the leading lady, but those reports were rubbished by scoopers immediately after.
However, a new image on Instagram has surfaced online by a scooper ‘Giant Freaking Robot.’ The image is none other than Ana De Armas in a Spider-Woman suit. Take a look –

Now, this may indicate that the actor could be in talks to take on Spider-Woman for either Sony or Marvel Studios. She is also rumored to appear in Sony’s Madame Web but everything is hard under wraps as the film had already finished filming back in January this year.
De Armas already has a lot on her plate and looking at this incredible AI-generated image of her as Spider-Woman just gives us a glimpse of how she could expand the already expanding Spider-Man multiverse with her incredible talent.

She Looks The Right Fit For Jessica Drew
We already got to see the animated Jessica Drew in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse voiced by Issa Rae. This version was shown as an African-American woman who drives a motorcycle and is an elite superhero.
In the comics, the character’s spider suit has a red and gold pattern to it unlike how it has been shown in the scooper’s shared image. But there is no harm in taking some creative liberties as both Sony and Marvel like to do it with their characters all the time.
With their upcoming film Madame Web, Sony is set to introduce Sydney Sweeney’s version of Spider-Woman. Ana De Armas could potentially be shown as a version somewhere in the multiverse, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Her upcoming film Ballerina is slated for a June 7, 2024 release.
