Keeping in shape is very important for actors and actresses because they often jump from one movie to another, and many Oscar-nominated stars are no exception to this. Oftentimes, they can follow some of the most rigorous schedules to make sure they stay in shape. From strict diets to mandatory workouts, there is no break for those who often stay in the public eye.
Although many celebrities choose to take regular cheat days, many do not. In the Hollywood industry, there is no hiding that comic book movies are basically dominating the entire film industry. Actors and actresses who either are a part of some of the biggest franchises or are working towards getting into those franchises follow some of the most strict diets.
Oscar Nominated Star Has An Incredibly Strict Diet
One such celebrity who has a massively strict diet happens to be none other than Oscar-nominated star Josh Brolin. Not only is the actor the Mad Titan Thanos, but he also stars alongside Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 2 as Cable. In order to keep in his best physical shape, the actor follows a diet that has restricted him from various different food items.
“Totally clean: no sugar, no breads, no pastas, no drugs, none of it. Fish, rice, eggs, veggies, water, one [bullet proof coffee] in the morning. It’s a different time: our access along with some big picture discipline results in always surprising milestones.”
From sugar to pasta and bread, he indulges in none of them. In fact, he sticks only to a routine meal with lots of eggs, fish, rice, and vegetables. Being in mainstream media requires him to always maintain a standard for his own body. To keep in his best shape at all times, he had to get rid of anything a majority of people would consider the best part of their diets.
Josh Brolin Has Alternatives To When The Gym Isn’t Accessible
There can often be instances when someone may not be able to go to the gym as regularly and they can get confined to their house. Josh Brolin does not take this as a limitation and still tries his best to still maintain his physique.
“But even if you can’t put in a 2 hour workout of abs, cardio, weights and boxing, it’s always nice to remind your body what kind of shape you want to stay in. 30 minutes today of random exercises: thrusters, push ups, lunges, burpees, straight bar rows, deadlift. Not too heavy but I feel it.”
If he cannot go to the gym, the Oscar nominee will instead work out in his own home. If not for the full duration of two long hours, then only for half an hour. He would still maintain his diet and do some random exercises to make sure he is not drifting away from his usual strict routine.
