Having starred in many massively successful and famous projects like The Fast and the Furious franchise, the Jumanji films, and Moana, the star has made a name for himself as an incredibly diverse and versatile actor who is willing to go above and beyond for whatever role he takes up.

Even though the actor has been part of many projects that have had immense media attention, fans will say that there are many films of the actor that they consider to be better than the ones that are most well-known, with Black Adam being an excellent example. 5. Rampage

Though it can be said that Rampage has quite an odd plot, it would be foolish to say that this is not an incredibly underrated film by Dwayne Johnson. The film follows a primatologist named Davis Okoye, who teams up with a geneticist named Dr. Kate Caldwell as they try to save an albino gorilla and prevent two giant mutated animals, a wolf and a reptile from wreaking havoc in their city.

4. San Andreas

Being one of the most captivating films in all of Johnson’s career, San Andreas follows the story of a rescue-chopper pilot named Ray, who is forced to embark on a dangerous journey with his ex-wife, played by Carla Gugino, to rescue their daughter after a massive earthquake hits the state of California. The film has incredible special effects and follows the incredibly interesting vision of Brad Peyton who makes the film extremely entertaining.

Central Intelligence is adored by fans of Dwayne Johnson, with the film featuring an intense plot loved by the ones who have seen this film, as well as the actor featuring alongside his good friend, Kevin Hart. The movie follows the character of Calvin, played by Hart, whose life takes an odd turn when his old classmate from high school, Bob who is now a lethal CIA agent, asks for his help in saving the U.S. spy satellite system which has been compromised.

This Dwayne Johnson film is perhaps one of the most criminally underrated films of his entire career. It follows the story of a bounty hunter who accepts a job to go into the jungle and bring back his boss’s son, only to find himself in a world of trouble after local goons decide that they want something that is in the possession of Johnson’s character. This movie is incredibly hilarious, being described as the most entertaining action film The Rock has ever been a part of.

It is quite odd that Jungle Cruise got much less attention than it deserved, considering the cast that it featured, with actors like Emily Blunt, Jesse Plemons, and Jack Whitehall, as well as the fact that the movie holds a score of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. We follow Dr. Lily Houghton alongside Frank Wolff into the jungle as they look for an ancient tree that can change the future of medicine with its powers of healing.
