Although, Affleck is wise enough to maintain his friendship and keep others’ secrets to himself. Previously, the actor appeared on a talk show, where he almost revealed his friend Tom Brady’s secret, but luckily he knew when to stop and didn’t risk Brady’s wrath.

Ben Affleck previously appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and discussed how disappointed he was by his brother Casey Affleck’s ungratefulness. The host of the show reminded Affleck of his brother’s win at the Golden Globes award where he mentioned everyone including his kids, Matt Damon, and Denzel Washington, but forgot to mention his elder brother.
Kimmel then pulled Affleck’s leg by reminding him of the moment when he received his Oscar award and mentioned his brother’s name in his Oscars speech and called him “brilliant.”
Kimmel then diverted the conversation to an American football quarterback Eli Manning and played a clip to see if he mentioned his brother when he won the super bowl. In the clip, Manning mentioned his friend and opponent Tom Brady and called him a “great big brother and supporter” and claimed that “he’ll be rooting hard for the Giants.” Looking at this clip, Affleck commented:
“They hate each other.”
The host laughed at it and asked Affleck if Brady himself told him this. Affleck, being a good friend and a secret keeper, very subtly replied,
“I don’t give away any of my Tom Brady secrets.”
Indeed, Affleck proved his true friendship by not revealing his friend’s secret and perhaps saving him from trouble.
Tom Brady’s Equation with Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck is known for his fondness for Boston sports. And he is also a huge fan of quarterback Tom Brady. The two shared a great bond and often spend time together. But reportedly, Affleck’s wife Jennifer Lopez was not very thrilled with their friendship and stopped her husband to stay in touch with Brady. According to the sources,
“She won’t stand in the way if they want to do business projects together. But as far as boys’ time in Florida or New York, which is what Ben’s proposing, it’s a nightmare scenario for Jennifer. She’s not going to stand for it.”
JLo’s discomfort with Brady and Affleck’s friendship has affected their bond as the two are reportedly staying away from each other.
