Before Jennifer Lopez Went Viral For Her Revealing $12,290 Worth Green Versace Dress, Sandra Bullock And 2 More Celebs Paved The Way For The 54-Year-Old Singer

Jennifer Lopez is a renowned spotlight holder for a long period now. The singer cum actress has never failed to become the talks of the town just by being herself, especially for her sophisticated fashion sense. So it was only normal for her to once again go viral for her revealing remixed version of her $12,290 worth of green Versace dress at the Versace Spring 2020 fashion show in Italy.

But while she first rocked the dress at the Grammys in 2000, it seems that she wasn’t the one to debut the incredible jungle dress. As it turns out, Sandra Bullock along with Donatella Versace and Geri Halliwell pulled off similar designs in the previous years before 2000 that left the audiences beautifully hooked on their dazzling auras.

The fearless Jennifer Lopez never backs down and manages to pull off even the most revealing dresses with perfection. The same way she absolutely nailed it as she rocked the runway at the Versace Spring 2020 fashion show in Italy in a remixed version of the same jungle print dress she wore at the 2000 Grammys.

Sealing the moment forever in her iconic green jungle Versace dress back in 2000, the diva walked the red carpet in her utterly charismatic way. 20 years later, she pulled off the same dress in its updated version with a plunging v-neckline with an open back embellished on its floral print, which is approximately worth $12,290 now.

But while Jennifer Lopez left the audience along with her fellow peers from the industry starstruck placing an indelible mark on the makers, inspiring others to produce similar versions of the famous silk-chiffon gown as well, there were other actresses who wore similar outfits of the same style first and better.

While the 54-year-old singer once again ripped the stage with her iconic dress remix, there were others before her who had done the same before her. This includes the stunning queen, Sandra Bullock. Though not known for wearing edgy or provocative outfits, the Gravity star absolutely shook the audience in a dress similar to Jennifer Lopez’s back in 1999 at the Vogue Fashion Awards.

But even before Bullock and Lopez, there was someone else who first gave birth to this iconic style by wearing it first at the Met Gala in 1999, and it was none other than Donatella Versace, the sister of the late Gianni Versace as well as the current chief at the Versace company in Italy. Following suit, singer Geri Halliwell too was seen donning a similar print of the green jungle dress a month or so after Versace at the first annual NRJ Music Awards.

And while all four superstars absolutely nailed it with their remarkable carrying of several incredible versions of the stunning prints, we’ll leave it up to the fans and the audience to decide who wore it better.
