Arnold Schwarzenegger was born into a very poor family in a city called Graz which is in Austria. The True Lies actor’s family had almost nothing. The 75-year-old actor moved to the United States of America in 1968 with a focused mindset. During an interview, the Terminator actor mentioned that he didn’t even know what a shower looked like until he joined a local gym at the age of 15. While talking about his poor background, Schwarzenegger said,
“This basin and a washcloth was how we bathed. My brother and I would schlep the water from the well to the house, and then we would all clean ourselves — first my mother, then my father, then my brother, then me. The water was dirty by the time it was our turn, but my brother and I weren’t going to schlep back to the well.”
The Twins actor said he and his family had nothing when he was a kid. But still, the actor said he was rich because he had dreams that he knew he will achieve one day.

“I had a dream of becoming the greatest bodybuilder, and I had a dream to use bodybuilding as a means to get into films. But I had no idea it would go as far as it did.”
The Total Recall actor said money was always a big problem in his family. His parents always thought he will end up becoming a farmer or would work in a factory but he knew he was meant to do something big and unique. Schwarzenegger’s parents didn’t want him to leave his homeland and move to the USA but the actor knew he had a dream to work on.
