Baldur’s Gate 3 has finally arrived in players’ hands, and right at the beginning of its journey, a sizable update is coming to bring a huge and ‘huge’ collection of transformative changes. Fans are waiting for an update like this so that the great potential of the game is reworked and improved in the parts that still need attention. While the game should have been released in its best possible version, it demonstrates the developers’ dedication to refining what Baldur’s Gate 3 lacked.
A transformative update is on its way to Baldur’s Gate 3
It’s not news to anyone anymore, but Baldur’s Gate 3 is having great success at its launch, and that’s not even the full version yet. Larian Studios, the developer behind the game, has announced that a big update is coming, and not just a big one but what they’re calling a “huge” list of changes. The RPG has already made an impression by debunking The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in the opinion of some as the best game of 2023. Now, with this promising update on the way, Baldur’s Gate 3 doesn’t seem to want to slow down any time soon.
The Larian team is still being more secretive with the community, not revealing all the details for now, but they have certainly shown that they are watching and listening to their fans. They said, “We have a roadmap for hotfixes and patches, thanks to your thorough reporting and the stellar work of the support and development teams behind the scenes.”

They continued, “We don’t publish our roadmaps because we need the freedom to push and pull things around when the unforeseen happens without locking ourselves in, but we want to let you know that it’s there and that we’re currently working towards Patch 1, which will feature a gigantic list of tweaks and changes. We’ll publish these once it’s finalized.”
This is still the first patch and is full of changes and tweaks that are sure to get us up to speed once everything is set in stone. We’re eager to see what this update will bring exactly, and not only that, but Xbox users are sitting on the edge of their seats, waiting for any news about the console game’s release date.

For now, only PC players can get in on the Baldur’s Gate 3 action, and while patience isn’t a strong suit in the gaming community, don’t despair PlayStation folks, you’ll be able to join the party from September 6th and the Larian people are committed to making this game even better.
