During the past few weeks, many gamers have been enjoying Baldur’s Gate 3 with its fantastic story and the beautiful world it is set in, and whilst players have been gaining hours with the characters that they have created, there are a few players who feel like they want a chance by having the ability to customise their character as they progress through the game, and from a tweet by Larian’s Director of Publishing it may be getting implemented rather soon.

What has been said regarding this future customisation option?
As players have been progressing through Baldur’s Gate 3, many have been hoping for a few different features to be added to the game that will help enhance their experience with Baldur’s Gate 3. Although many players have been asking for more in-game activities to be added to Baldur’s Gate 3, there is a large majority of players who have been asking for the option to change how their character looks whilst playing through the story.
Currently, there is an option available to change how a player’s armour looks, but there aren’t any options to change things like hairstyles, body shape or sizes, and this has made fans ask the question when will this option be added to Baldur’s Gate 3? Since this was asked on Twitter, Larian’s Director of Publishing, Michael Douse, replied that this option is “being cooked“, which tells us that they are working on this for a future update and may be coming rather soon.

When will we be seeing this option get added to Baldur’s Gate 3?
As this tweet was only responded to on the 14th of August, there hasn’t been a lot of time for them to carry on development for this new feature in Baldur’s Gate 3, but since it has been responded to, we can assume that Larian is at least in the process of developing this feature and we could even see it before the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 on PlayStation which gain a lot of good reactions from players as this is something a lot of players don’t think they need until the option isn’t there.
So far, it has been mentioned that any update that is released before Baldur’s Gate 3 releases on PlayStation will be implemented onto the PlayStation copy from day one, so if this new customisation option is added over the next few weeks for players to use it will be available day one for brand new players on PlayStation, and that also means that any glitches that have been discovered during the release period on PC any patches that have been released will also be added to the PlayStation version.
