The Marvel Cinematic Universe has executed and hit all the right spots in this regard- it’s currently one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time and that is no easy feat to come by. Now one would think, how could anyone else possibly dethrone such a well-structured and planned franchise that has a lot more to offer?

The answer would lie in the works of James Cameron, who has been giving competition to the MCU at the box office ever since the release of Titanic. And now just a decade later, with Avatar. Both movies crossed the billion-dollar mark (and more) at the box office.

If you were James Cameron and happened to take a look at the impressive box-office record that your movies earned, you’d have a lot to be happy about. In fact, you’d be happier if people got to see your work through a much newer… screen, presumably in 4K.

The remastered version of Titanic is set to be released in theaters on February 10, 2023.
