The 38-year-old actress, Aubrey Plaza in a 2022 GQ interview responded to a fan’s suggestion who gushed about how she would be the “first pick” if she were to play an adult version of the famous character, Wednesday Addams.

However, this condition would only work if Christina Ricci would be unavailable for the role. For the unversed, Ricci played the iconic role in the 1990s film, hence if, in the future, an adult character would be required, she would be the fittest for the role as per her fans.

She responded by declaring her love for the character as well as Ricci however she mentioned,

“I’m more in the Morticia casting pool at this point.”

Morticia is the protagonist’s mother who has quite an influence on the fan-favorite character. Here, she wanted to state the fact that she might not be a good actress to play the youthful Wednesday’s role however she recommended her version.

“But if they did, like, a newly divorced Wednesday going on a wellness retreat in Arizona.”

She further added about pitching for a film if her version is taken into consideration.
