Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ kids have been humbled.
Besides being one of Hollywood’s A-list couples, Kutcher, 45, and Kunis, 39, also happen to be two of the most popular stars in the film industry with a charming net worth of $200 million and $75 million embellished to their names respectively. So, it’s only fair to assume that their children would have a lavishly comfortable life growing up with their parents’ wealth to fall back on. But it looks like Kutcher and Kunis had entirely different plans.
That ’70s Show stars decided to not leave a single slice of their exquisite fortune for their 8-year-old daughter, Wyatt, and 6-year-old son, Dimitri, wanting them to push through life on their own rather than living a life propped up on the foundation of their parents’ gigantic inheritance.

Back in 2018, when Ashton Kutcher guest-starred on Armchair Expert, a podcast by Dax Shepherd, he revealed that he and his wife, Mila Kunis, had decided not to leave a single penny to their kids, Wyatt Isabelle and Dimitri Portwood because turning them into trust fund kids was definitely not how the duo wanted to raise them. “We’ll end up giving our money away to charity and to various things,” the former model and actor said.
Kutcher’s primary concern behind taking such a huge step was that he didn’t want their children to live a life bedazzled with privilege and luxury. The No Strings Attached star didn’t want to hand them everything on a silver platter where they don’t even have to bat an eye. He instead wanted them to be “resourceful” and “motivated” enough to navigate their way through life by themselves.
“My kids are living a really privileged life, and they don’t even know it. And they’ll never know it, because this is the only one that they’ll know.”
“I want them to be really resourceful. As long as they know what to do when they don’t have things . . . so hopefully they’ll be motivated to have what they had, or some version of what they had.”
Sure, if Wyatt and Dimitri require any financial assistance, they’ll get it, after proving themselves of course. “If my kids want to start a business, and they have a good business plan, I’ll invest in it,” Kutcher stated. “But they’re not getting trusts.”

Twitter seems to be utterly divided on this one, with some chastising the couple for being too harsh on their kids and others encouraging them for the same. Meanwhile, others are simply having a good laugh out of the whole thing.
Wyatt and Dimitri are probably whatever the opposite of nepo babies is.
Kutcher’s latest gig involved him sharing the screen with Legally Blonde star Reese Witherspoon in Aline Brosh McKenna’s romantic comedy, Your Place or Mine. The film can be streamed on Netflix.
