Brad Pitt is one of the most legendary actors in Hollywood. He has been in blockbuster projects like Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood, Inglourious Basterds, 12 Years a Slave, and Fight Club. He has set the standard for what is considered as flawless acting and has done pretty much anything an actor can do.
From taking up extreme, mentally challenging roles to playing characters that require extreme physical fitness, Pitt is never one to back down from a role. It would seem though, that Pitt is adding another extreme role to his acting portfolio.
Brad Pitt is to Star in New Formula 1 movie
Brad Pitt has recently been cast in an upcoming Formula 1 movie with the director of Top Gun: Maverick. This movie will also have the seven-time Formula 1 champion and legend, Lewis Hamelton, as one of its producers. This movie will also require Pitt to learn how to drive an F1 car and even be part of a race British Grand Prix, to train. During a panel untitled film at the F1 Accelerate Summit, production details were shared about the movie.
“Creating an 11th team filming on track and on event from Silverstone to the end of the year.” Silverstone is the track where the British Grand Prix takes place.
It was revealed that there has been a special camera designed to help transport the viewers into the cockpit and view the race. It was also released that though Pitt will most likely be driving a modified version of a junior F2 or F3 car at Silverstone, he will not be racing anyone. This may be a good thing as racing in a Formula 1 car can be quite dangerous, after a recent incident with the X-Men actor, Micheal Fassbender.
Michael Fassbender Has A Close Call
Michael Fassbender has been very excitedly racing in France’s Le Mans. The race is said to last 24 hours and while he was appearing for the second time, the actor had an extremely close call. While in the race, Fassbender crashed his Porsche 911. Fortunately enough, he was not hurt. However, his time in the race was since cut short. He was representing the German Proton Competition team.
“I’m never going to be a professional racing driver, but I’m super passionate about it, it means so much to me. And I want to reach my full potential.”
The actor had been very passionate about the entire thing. Luckily he was able to drag the car back to its pit before it finally gave up. Proton even confirmed that the car is in no condition to return after the actor lost control of the vehicle.
