Eyeing to be cast in Yellowstone, Schwarzenegger expressed his liking for the franchise.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Wishes To Appear In Yellowstone Franchise
After appearing in major franchises throughout his career, Arnold Schwarzenegger expressed his desire to appear in the Yellowstone franchise. Willing to be a part of the epic drama series that revolves around the Dutton family, Schwarzenegger expressed his desire to team up with Taylor Sheridan. Following Sylvester Stallone’s journey with Sheridan in Tulsa King, even The Terminator star wishes to work with the legend.
Sitting for an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Arnold Schwarzenegger was asked about his desire to work with Taylor Sheridan. Reverting with an answer, Schwarzenegger stated, “Absolutely! I think he’s very talented”. Further, on being asked about his opinion on Yellowstone, the actor mentioned, “And the cast on [Yellowstone] is phenomenal.”
“Today, I see much more of other people’s performances than I did in the ’80s, when I was only seeing myself. I was thinking: ‘I have to win.’ It was a competition against Sly, against others. ‘I have to be number one.’” Schwarzenegger stated.
Discussing his desire to work with Taylor Sheridan in the Yellowstone franchise, Arnold Schwarzenegger drew attention to himself amid Kevin Costner’s drama with the show. Standing in line behind Matthew McConaughey, who signed up for a Yellowstone sequel spin-off, the veteran actor seems to be eyeing Costner’s role.

Although the Yellowstone franchise proved to be one of the most popular scripted shows in modern television, with 12M viewers, the prime character Kevin Costner still seems to be leaving the legendary show. While Taylor Sheridan’s neo-Western series has been breaking its own records, the show is also been plagued by rumors and speculations regarding Costner’s alleged exit.
While the flagship show is coming to an end with the suspense of whether Kevin Costner will return for the final episodes, fans are hoping for an explanation statement for his departure. Although much of the speculation is focused on an alleged off-screen feud between Costner and Sheridan, fans are still looking for a solid reason. Amid such tumultuous times for Yellowstone, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s desire to join the show seems to have sparked hope.

It is believed, that with Costner’s exit, Schwarzenegger can take his place and lead the show to its ultimatum. Following the end of the original series with the conclusion of season 5 part 2, showmakers are coming up with a sequel show for new actors to join. Thus, Schwarzenegger still seems to have chances to manifest his desire.
