Each year, the outstanding talent in Hollywood keeps on growing with the addition of new faces that represent it. And within these recent times, Jonathan Majors has emerged as one of the stars that have shot to the top from within the pool of the young blood. Making a striking first impression from his appearance as He Who Remains in the season finale of Disney’s Loki, to preparing to wow the audience with his role in the upcoming Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, there is no stopping the star from making an even bigger name in the industry.
And as with every rising celebrity, the popularity of this new face has surged beyond anyone’s wildest imagination at an unforeseen rate. With so much attention that the star is grabbing, be it intentional or unintentional, it soon becomes overwhelming for him. But he had already been prepared for this since before his rise to fame, as he knows what havoc he might create for himself if he had any social media accounts.
Jonathan Majors Stays Clear Of Social Media Platforms
There have always been stories in the Hollywood industry about the coming up of new talent out of nowhere and establishing a legacy, which is a tradition that is now being continued by Jonathan Majors. The upcoming star has already made a name for himself in the vast Hollywood landscape with some pretty major roles under his name. The biggest being the role of Kang the Conqueror in the MCU and the upcoming Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.
And with the star’s rapid increase in popularity, many of his fans are asking why he still does not have a social media account. The same question was asked by Rebecca Ford from Vanity Fair when she sat down with the Devotion star to have a conversation. When she asked him the questions that many had on their minds, he simply replied that he doesn’t like the unwanted attention that these platforms bring. He is also a very private individual, while also being clumsy enough to land himself in controversy soon enough. During the interview he said:
“I did get pressure from my team, my publicist, light pressure, early on. I said, “Believe it or not, and you may not see it now, it’s going to take away from my business.” And I’m not shitting on it. I do understand what it means. I know that there’s some things I don’t know because I’m like six days behind on anything that happens with Kanye. I mean, listen, I can mess shit up in the real world. Don’t give me another avenue.”
The star’s hesitance is valid since the nature of social media platforms nowadays is very volatile, with the chances of things going very wrong very quickly.
