All 7 Upcoming Movies of Chris Pratt (& TV Series)

Pratt may or may not be your favorite Chris working in Hollywood, but he is among the most popular movie stars right now. And if you really doubt this statement, you’ve got to look at his list of upcoming projects. Pratt is already a mainstay in the MCU and the Jurassic World franchises. Last year he entertained us quite a bit with The Tomorrow War. But it’s safe to say that his next couple of years will be huge for him. In fact, 2022 itself is going to be insane and his fans. Just look at the upcoming movies of Chris Pratt (and TV shows too):

Jurassic World: Dominion

The Jurassic World threequel has people on the edge as the Dinos are marking their territory on human lands. And this time there’s going to be triple the action and fun with the iconic trio of Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, and Laura Dern returning from the original Jurassic Park movies. It’ll be interesting to see whether Dinosaurs will once again rule the world, or if mankind and Dinos will learn to co-exist! Jurassic World: Dominion hits theatres on June 10.

The Terminal List

On July 1st, Prime Video will begin streaming Chris Pratt’s new action-heavy series, The Terminal List. He plays a Navy SEAL named James Reece who returns home after his entire platoon gets ambushed. And this is when the mystery unravels as he discovers the new dark forces working against him. Now it’ll be upon Reece to survive and protect the ones he loves.

Thor: Love and Thunder

Upcoming Movies of Chris Pratt

Star-Lord may be going out of the MCU soon, but his last run is going to be big. It starts with Thor: Love and Thunder as the God of Thunder is currently traveling around as an Asgardian of the Galaxy. But soon after kickin’ butts in Thor 4, Star-Lord and co are going to part ways with Thor. The film hits theatres on July 8, but it isn’t the last 2022 project where we see Peter Quill. He is also set to return in…

Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special

Mr. Star Munch is going to rock our Christmas as he’ll lead the Guardians on another cosmic adventure in this year’s Holiday special on Disney+. James Gunn has confirmed that along with Chris Pratt and co, we’re going to see a totally new character make his/her debut in the special outing. It could either be Chukwudi Iwuji’s High Evolutionary or Will Poulter’s Adam Warlock. But since it is a Christmas special, rumors suggest that Peter Quill might meet MCU’s Santa Claus who could be played by Mark Hamill (whaaaaa?!!).

Super Mario

Back in September 2021, Chris Pratt landed the role of Mario in the upcoming Super Mario animated film. He’ll be voicing his character alongside Charlie Day, who’s playing Luigi, and Anya Taylor-Joy plays Princess Peach. There are other familiar actors lending their voices, and those include Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Jack Black as Browser, and Keegan-Michael Key as Toad. This untitled Mario film is set to arrive on April 7, 2023.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Upcoming Movies of Chris Pratt

The Holiday special is going to lead Pratt and co directly into Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. James Gunn has confirmed that we’ll be seeing this iteration of the Guardians together for the last time in Vol. 3. So, a massive change in their line-up is coming as we explore the origin of Rocket the Raccoon this time around. He and his family are going to go up against his creator, the High Evolutionary. We’ve got to be prepared for the Trash Panda’s demise this time around. But let’s hope that Vol. 3 won’t be Star-Lord’s last MCU entry as well. The film arrives on May 5, 2023.

Garfield

After Mario, Pratt also became the voice of Garfield in Sony’s new animated adaptation from Alcon Entertainment. Based on a script from David Reynolds, Mark Dindal is said to direct this project that hasn’t been allotted a release date yet. Chris Pratt is not new to lending voicing characters in animated films as he has also played Emmet in The Lego Movie and Barley Lightfoot in Onward. So we’re sure that he’d do a good job as both Garfield and even Mario.

Honorable Mention

There’s also a film called Cowboy Ninja Viking that had been announced way back in 2018. Chris Pratt was supposed to star alongside Priyanka Chopra, but nothing has come out of it yet (and nothing will!)
