Building an immaculate physique has remained a substantial part of Hollywood stars, especially when it comes to the action and Superhero genre. And some of the biggest names in this field involve actors like Dwayne Johnson and Hugh Jackman. However, former UFC commentator Joe Rogan believes that there was some foul play involved in The Rock’s godly physique.
However, when it came to Hugh Jackman, who is also in his 50s and has constantly maintained an incredible physique as Wolverine, Rogan believes that Jackman’s physique is much more achievable.
Joe Rogan believes Hugh Jackman’s physique is achievable compared to Dwayne Johnson
Throughout his tenure playing Wolverine in the X-Men movies, Hugh Jackman didn’t fail to maintain an exquisite physique and embodied the iconic character through his portrayal. Although Joe Rogan did suspect the use of some shady methods involved in building his muscles for the role, the commentator did commend Jackman and claimed, “Yeah… that’s achievable.” However, when it came to Dwayne Johnson, Rogan didn’t have many nice things to say.
Ever since his WWE days, Dwayne Johnson is known for maintaining a godly physique and still does, despite being in his 50s. Although the WWE superstar claimed that it’s all-natural, Joe Rogan wasn’t convinced of the actor’s statement and accused The Rock of using performance-enhancing drugs to maintain his impressive body. Reflecting on the WWE star’s physique, Rogan claimed, “There’s not a f**king chance in hell he’s clean, not a chance in hell as big as The Rock is at fifty.” However, he went on to commend Jackman for the same, as he gears up for Deadpool 3.
Joe Rogan respects Hugh Jackman’s decision to not use steroids
Although Joe Rogan once accused Hugh Jackman of using steroids to get in shape previously, the podcaster recently respected the Logan star’s decision about his upcoming Deadpool 3. Even though Jackman is set to reprise the role of Wolverine in the upcoming threequel, his physique in the movie might be a bit dependent on VFX, as Jackman refused to take any PEDs for the film. Rogan respected the actor’s decision, as he said,
“They’re gonna CGI it. He said that he can’t do this anymore, and it’s also he’s in his 50s. I mean what do you think that a guy like that gets on to get that big? I mean what kind of stuff? I’ve never gotten that big. So when you get that big like, what are you on?”
Considering Rogan has been a long-time fitness enthusiast himself, it’s reasonable to see why he despises the use of PEDs and has been so vocal about the matter from time to time.
Deadpool 3 will hit theatres on 8 November 2024.
