British actor Charlie Cox is known for being part of HBO’s hit series Boardwalk Empire in which he appeared prominently in seasons 2 and 3 of the show. His entry into the MCU came with portraying the character of Daredevil. The star first took on the role of Matt Murdock in 2014 with the Marvel series Daredevil for Netflix, then The Defenders in 2017, and finally in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law in 2022 for Disney+.

Charlie Cox Expresses His Desire to Work With Tom Holland Again

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, British actor Charlie Cox appeared in a brief but entertaining cameo as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. Despite being present for only a few minutes on screen with Tom Holland, Cox’s chemistry with the Spider-man actor was appreciated by fans and Marvel buffs. The Boardwalk Empire star also expressed his pleasure in being part of the film and working with Tom Holland and said, “It would be great to share screen space with him someday”

Following his comment, netizens took to social media to express their excitement about a possible collaboration between the two MCU stars.

Here’s Everything to Know about Charlie Cox’s Daredevil: Born Again

After successfully portraying the role of Daredevil in various MCU films and series including a standalone show on the character, Charlie Cox is all set to take Matt Murdock to the next level in his brand new show Daredevil: Born Again. The series is set to have a total of 18 episodes, with Kingpin also confirmed to be the primary villain, despite his suspected demise at the end of Hawkeye. While this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce the rest of the Defenders, nothing has been officially confirmed yet. Speaking of the opportunity to play the character once again, Cox said,

“To be invited back and starting again, almost, it feels like a little bit like a dream. It feels too good to be true. I’m so excited about the future.”

As for the character, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock aka Daredevil is expected to have darker and grittier nuances in the show which will exclusively stream on Disney+. Another exciting aspect of the show is the alleged return of Jon Bernthal as The Punisher.

Daredevil: Born Again is currently scheduled for release in the Spring of 2024.
