Zachary Levi’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods was a massively underwhelming box office bomb. Having little to no excitement about the movie around its release, the movie’s success died down very quickly and it only managed to secure a score of 49% on Rotten Tomatoes. Levi has been very vocal about his opinions on this subject and has found many reasons to blame its performance.
His performance in the movie may have been the reason why Levi seems to not have any role in James Gunn’s plan for his first phase of the DCEU, Gods and Monsters. This, however, did not stop Levi from looking to other horizons with his upcoming reboot of a cult classic movie.
First Look At Zachary Levi’s Spy Kids Reboot
Spy Kids is one of the most iconic children’s franchises from the 2000s, having four entertaining films that became an internal part of the childhoods of many. Being such a massive movie series, it was only inevitable that eventually there would be a reboot. Zachary Levi’s Spy Kids: Armageddon, where he stars alongside Jane the Virgin actress, Gina Rodriguez, is set to come out later this year.
While not much is known about the film just yet, it is expected that the movie will have a plot surrounding the children of the world’s greatest secret agents. They become spies themselves to save their parents and the world from a man with a computer virus that gives him control of all technology. The first look of the movie was recently released on Twitter, and unfortunately, fans are extremely disappointed.
Fans React To The First Look Of Zachary Levi’s Spy Kids Reboot

Many stated that the quality of the movie looks awful. They mentioned that they hated the way everything looked in this reboot and that no one actually asked for this to happen.
Some stated that this franchise did not need to reboot to completely tarnish its legacy. Some added that they did not want this movie to ruin their fond childhood memories of the original. While some wished that this movie be good, unlike the majority of reboots, they did not keep their hopes high.
