After Dwayne Johnson and John Cena’s Hollywood Domination, Another WWE Legend Bags Major Role in Arrowverse Star Stephen Amell Series

Stephen Amell played Green Arrow in the hit television series Arrow. He reprised his character over years and became synonymous with the iconic DC superhero. Amell’s portrayal of Green Arrow was praised by fans and critics alike, and he quickly became one of the most recognizable faces. Apart from being a good actor, Amell is also an avid wrestling fan and has made some appearances in the WWE ring. 

And it is not the first time that any professional wrestler has been dominating the field of acting. But now Amell has revealed that this may soon have an addition of another wrestler, named CM Punk. Amell has revealed that CM Punk will have more scenes in the upcoming season of Heels.

Stephen Amell In Heels

Since the end of Arrow, Amell has continued to pursue acting, with his most recent project being the wrestling drama Heels on Starz. Heels is a popular television show that premiered on Starz in 2021. The show is centered around professional wrestling and tells the story of two brothers, Jack Spade, and Ace Spade, who are trying to keep their father’s wrestling promotion alive. Stephen Amell plays the character of Jack Spade, a wrestling heel who is trying to navigate his way through the world of professional wrestling.

Stephen Amell Teased More Involvement Of CM Punk In Heels Season 2

In the upcoming season of Heels, Stephen Amell has hinted there will be more part of CM Punk in the upcoming season. CM Punk played the role of Ricky Rabies, a DWL pro wrestler, in the series. CM Punk, born Phillip Jack Brooks, is a former professional wrestler and mixed martial artist. He is known for his time in the WWE, where he won multiple championships and became one of the most popular wrestlers of his generation. The Arrow star also hinted that someone from Arrow will soon join Heels, but hasn’t revealed which stars will make an appearance. 

“We definitely have CM Punk more involved. You’ll see two very familiar faces, one of which I think Arrow fans will be very excited about.”
