Microsoft does know how to win the heart of their fans. With Starfield on the verge of release, fans cannot wait further for the magnum opus of a game that has been in development for so long. Hoping that a Cyberpunk 2077 fiasco doesn’t happen again, fans have not demanded an immediate release of the game this time.

Since Bethesda Studios has been perfecting Starfield since 2018, fans have developed quite a hype for the game. In an effort to push the game sales even further, Microsoft announced a pretty sweet deal for all Xbox and PC players.

In a recent report, it was revealed that Starfield will be available to download for a single dollar when it launches. With the game launching on the Xbox Game Pass and the subscription costing only $1, fans will be able to play the AAA video game for a single dollar when it releases in September. This deal will most definitely boost Xbox Game Pass sales alongside that of Starfield as Bethesda Studios and Microsoft Corporation will rake in millions of dollars worth of profit from the game.

As people take a deeper dive into the specifications of Starfield, fans are once again disappointed that the game will have a constant lock at 4K resolution with 30 FPS. Wanting 60 FPS for the game, the director of Bethesda Game Studios, Todd Howard supported the 30 FPS lock and stated that it was for the people’s good.

“We never looked at taking features away – our focus is on delivering all of that. Ultimately, look, we boil it down to we wanted the consistency. [The] game is running great, but we don’t want players to ever think about it. We have obviously seen other games that have performance modes, and we lean toward consistency overall, and we talk to our fans and hear that from everybody.”

With high hopes and anticipation, Starfield is set for a release date of 6th September 2023 and will be available to play on Xbox Series X/S and PCs.
