One of the most recent inductees into Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, Fisher had built a reputation for herself over the course of her 5-decade long career. She started her career with Shampoo in 1975, but it was Star Wars that gave her career a boost. As a nod to the franchise, she was inducted into the Walk of Fame on 4th May 2023.

A star who had so much to offer to the industry. It was on a fateful summer day in 2013 that Paul Walker’s Porsche Carrera GT crashed in the vicinity of North Los Angeles. The car erupted into flames, striking fear in the hearts of one and all. He was gone too soon.

In June 2022, it was announced that The Fast and Furious Star would soon get a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in the 2023 ceremony, almost a decade after his passing.

When the Dreaming of You singer died in 1995 at the tender age of 23, no one could make any sense. She died after sustaining a bullet from one of the founders of her fan club. It was 22 years after her death that she got her rightful place on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Another influential Latina singer on the list, Jenni Rivera died in December 2012 in a plane crash. Born in Long Island, California, she quickly rose through the ranks, making a name for herself in the industry. Despite all the fame that came her way, she had to suffer a lot.

Yet none of that could take away the fact that she was one of the leading Latina singers at the time, being the single most successful woman on the Billboard Latin Charts. She was deemed to be worthy of a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2022, receiving her star in the ceremony as Paul Walker.

Steve Irwin was known for his peculiar love for people (and animals). It was a result of this strange love that he was given the title of The Crocodile Hunter, the same name as the TV series he was a part of.

Irwin passed away in 2006. But it was only 12 years down the line that he was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony was attended by his close family, including his children Bindi and Robert and his wife Terri. Bindi Irwin remarked,

“Dad changed the world by reaching out to people through their television screens to bring them on the adventure of a lifetime.”

His inclusion was not only a tribute to him, but a tribute to his work as well.

The oldest name on the list, Juanita Moore is a star who shined brightly for the bulk of the last century. She was a black actress who truly transcended heights.

The star of Imitation of Life fame went on to make waves in Hollywood for over half a century. During her career, she was nominated for the Academy Awards on numerous occasions. She went on to become the fifth black actor to be nominated for the Oscars. As a testament to her greatness, she was finally given her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023.
