Now that we’re talking about secrets, we all know how long the series is and how many unanswered mysteries there are in between. Let’s explore any mysteries that might be lurking in between One Piece’s occurrences and adventures.
Will of D
The only thing we truly know about the middle initial D is that it occasionally appears in people with extremely strong wills who smile when they pass away. And the celestial dragons are their adversaries. The reason why this is so remarkable is that we have no idea why a lot of people seem to make use of their middle initial. So far, it has been referenced with a hint of awe by Doffy, Law, Kureha, and Robin. Doffy appears to think that they are a group someplace that may rise to the forefront shortly, which makes his remark about the throne conflicts quite intriguing to viewers.
Blackbeard, possessing two devil fruits
One of the major mysteries in the series so far has been Blackbeard, whose capacity to consume many Devil Fruits is one of the enigmas. None other than Jabra gave us the impression that each person could only have one piece of fruit and that if this weren’t the case, everyone would have more than one piece of fruit. One of the most enduring One Piece puzzles is the origin of Devil Fruits. Where their skills come from and how they pass them on to their diners remain a complete mystery. Who is Imu?
Imu’s very presence is a significant revelation that upends the order of things in One Piece. They are so strong that Uta in One Piece Film: Red’s “I’m Invincible” segment replicates their style in a humorous Easter egg. During the Revelry, we learn that there is a power even greater than that of the Five Elders. However, everyone—with the possible exception of the Five Elders themselves—is utterly unaware of their very existence. Imu is that authority.
When Imu is present (Imu’s gender identification is currently unknown), the Five Elders bow before him. Imu appears to spend most of her time in a private garden. Imu is seated atop the Empty Throne. Imu effectively rules the entire world, but they operate covertly.
What is the One Piece?
The identity of One Piece itself is without a doubt the largest unsolved mystery in the series to date. It is understandable that this question, which was first posed to the audience immediately at the start of the narrative, has yet to have an answer decades later. Only once Luffy sets foot on Laugh Tale, the Final Island, will the fans learn the truth about One Piece.
Fans have at least been able to observe a select group of characters’ reactions after realizing what was in the loot, thanks to the Roger Pirates. Eiichiro Oda has utterly avoided talking about it except for this. Inevitably, Monkey D. Luffy will arrive at Laugh Tale, and One Piece will be ready for the biggest reveal in anime history.
