Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has a reputation for producing iconic characters and actors that are born to play the roles. Take Iron Man, for example, and Robert Downey Jr. Sometimes, fans cannot separate their identities. The rest of the Avengers cast, too, is indeed perfectly suited for the roles they played on screens.
MCU Phase 4 is the current chapter we are all in, and many new faces and characters have been introduced since the beginning. Whether movie or TV series, these actors proved they seamlessly embody the MCU roles they were given.
Wyatt Russell As John Walker
Who would ever forget that one gory and shocking scene from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier? Wyatt Russell played the new face of Captain America as sponsored by the US Government. He is righteous and arrogant, which is the total opposite of what the title embodies.
Indeed, Russell’s portrayal of John Walker was excellently delivered. He made the audience hate the character, an evident result of his superb acting skill. The actor provided a multi-dimensional look at Captain America, and the message was clearly conveyed.
Florence Pugh As Yelena Belova
The previous years have been a great movie streak for Florence Pugh. Whether she plays in a period drama, horror film, or action movie, she always nails the roles. Her character in the Black Widow movie, Yelena Belova, stood out among the rest.
Pugh has the attitude and presence of a strong-willed and stubborn mind, and Yelena fits the description. Many actresses have been considered for the role, but Black Widow’s director revealed that Pugh was his top prospect.
Hailee Steinfeld As Kate Bishop
Kate Bishop is a college student who is passionate about archery. Since the invasion in New York, she has witnessed Clint Barton’s careful handle of the bow and arrow and the precise aim at targets. Kate has been inspired and now has made a name for herself.
Hailee Steinfeld is a versatile actress who has ventured into diverse acting roles. She is no stranger to the superhero field as she has also worked on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Her debut in the Hawkeye series was impressive, and it garnered positive reviews.
Iman Vellani As Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel
Ms. Marvel is the newest MCU hit show to date, and fans have Iman Vellani to thank for bringing the titular role to life. She is new in the scene, but her grit and passion undeniably brought immense meaning to the character’s life.
Iman is the perfect actress for the role because she fits the ambitious type yet is a bit lost in the process. Besides, those powers are definitely too strong to handle.
Oscar Isaac As Marc Spector/Jake Lockley/Steven Grant
It is not easy to play a complicated character, but Oscar Isaac delivered it threefold! He portrayed someone with a dissociative disorder which required him to embody multiple personalities that swing back and forth in Moon Knight.
The role is truly a demanding and daunting one, but it gave Isaac the opportunity to show the world how great of an actor he is. The MCU can truly bring out the greatest potential a performer has never discovered in oneself before.
