The museum has cited his social media posts, which were based against the spread of hate, and has concluded by presenting him with a prestigious award.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Father Was a Nazi Officer

Arnold Schwarzenegger was born and raised in Austria, where he also experienced a very hard upbringing and a life of abject poverty. He was born to a Nazi officer, Gustav Schwarzenegger, who termed him a “tyrant” who frequently subjected him and his family to severe mistreatment. The actor discussed how his father was a Nazi party leader who struggled with a variety of mental health issues, including schizophrenia, in his Netflix documentary named Arnold.
