Marvel’s ‘Runaways’ Season 2 Apparently Filming

Earlier in 2018, Marvel‘s new show Runaways set the stage for a new cast of characters in the ever expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show follows a group of teens and their pet dinosaur in a dangerous situation as they take to the streets.

With the way this season ended, fans of the show wondered when the next season for the show was going to drop. Luckily, it doesn’t seem like fans have to wait too long, as apparently Season 2 for the show is currently in production. The confirmation, if you want to call it that, comes from Virginia Gardner’s Instagram story, where she and her costars Gregg Sulkin, Rhenzy Feliz, and Ariela Barer play around and throw bread at one another.

While production on the season was stated some time ago that it would start sometime in April, neither Hulu or the show runners have come out and revealed whether or not production has indeed started. Take it as you will, but with the actors sharing videos with each other is our current form of “confirmation” about the show being in production for the new season.

Allegra Acosta (Molly) had posted a video with a trainer, practicing her boxing skills, refereeing it as preparation for the new season. While likely, a grain of salt is also necessary.

Regardless of what we have so far, we aren’t sure on whether or not the show will continue where it left off or take on a time jump and pick up from there. Hopefully, we will acquire some new information on Hulu’s show some time soon.

Season 1 of Runaways is now streaming on Hulu.
